Dr. Felix McNulty is a researcher for the study. Their doctoral thesis explored relationships with weight and shape for trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming adults living in the UK, and their research interests include critical weight studies and Fat Studies, trans health and health inequalities, and LGBTQ+ young people’s mental health. Outside of academia they co-founded Books Beyond Bars UK in 2019. The project sends books, zines and other resources to imprisoned LGBTQIA+ people across the UK.
